Do You Have PayPal, Yet? What You Need to Know.

Many home businesses & careers of online entrepreneurs look vastly different from each other. There is one dominating factor, however, among most of today's online businesses - they accept PayPal. Joining PayPal is one of the smartest decisions a new business owner can make.

PayPal allows you to easily receive money from your clients & customers. Whether you put a "Buy Me" button next to your product or service offering, like I do on CenterOfMuse.com, or email your clients an invoice, allowing them to pay you by email through their PayPal account - it is free, secure, and easy for both you and the customer.

I've used PayPal for years, for both eBay purchases, and to receive money from clients & even gifts of cash from friends. I use it for clients and workshop attendees to swiftly & confidently purchase services from me & my company. I also receive payments from the websites that I write for, and for affiliate advertisements & Google Ads that are featured on my websites.

Whether you need to securely accept credit cards, or your customers would prefer to safely transfer money from their bank account, without having their bank information transmitted to your site, PayPal has a proven track record of being safe, secure, and trustworthy.

Add an extra feeling of security by becoming "verified" by PayPal, where you prove that you are who you say you are & are not a spamming, scheming charlatan.

Need supplies? Don't risk your personal or business information, use PayPal as your buffer. No need to divulge your credit card number or bank account information to a faceless website.

Have a blog or a website that you'd like to get paid for? Many of the common online advertisement companies & paid blogging companies pay their independent contractors using PayPal, many even let you decide whether you get paid after $5, $10, $50, or more. You can then shop online with those funds, or have it deposited directly into your own bank account.

Want to make more money online? Want to write articles for pay? They probably pay via PayPal. Write clever code for WordPress & want to allow folks to buy you a cup of coffee? They can toss you a couple of bucks through PayPal. Have expertise that someone would pay to hear? Chances are the go-between service uses PayPal, too. Want to sell your stuff on Ebay? Better get PayPal.

See the pattern?

There are many options, too. You can choose a Personal, Premier, or Business account. Or you could have a Personal and Business account, as long as there is separate email and bank account information for both accounts. You could apply for either the PayPal Credit Card, Money Market, or Debit Card. You could build a PayPal store, use a PayPal cart, or include payment buttons on your website, in your email, or on your blog. Send. Receive. Request. Invoice. Auction. Whatever your web commerce activity, PayPal, which processes 1 in 4 eBay transactions likely has a combination that is right for your business.

Whether you are a budding business, or own a large multi-user website, chances are you need PayPal.

If you don't have your own PayPal account, yet, get one now. It's free, it's safe, it's a technology service you need if you want to do business online.
