Nintendogs Breed Listing - Labrador Retriever Set

Nintendogs isn't just one game. It's a collection of games, and each item in the series offers a series of breeds of dogs that are available. Depending on which particular Nintendog box you buy, you will have certain dogs available to play with. The following set of dogs are available on the Nintendog Labrador Retriever box set.

Corgi - this ancient breed has been around since the 12th century, in the area of Wales. Corgis, being a small dog, were used to keep an eye on chickens and general household vermin defense.

Labrador Retriever - Labs originally came from the loyal Newfoundland dog, which worked hard alongside the fishermen of this area. The breeding began in the 1700s and by the early 1900s we had the modern version of this friendly dog.

Miniature Pinscher - these short haired small dogs hail from Germany and are full of energy. They are very intelligent and constantly on the go.

Miniature Schnauzer - Schnauzers date back to the 1400s, and mini versions came not long after that. Bred in Germany, the small stiff-haired dogs with their distinctive mustaches were often used to keep a home free of rats and full of love.

Shiba - this elegant large dog has been kept in Japan literally since 5000 BC or before. This dog tends to have a long, rich coat and full, turned over tail.

Toy Poodle - best known for being the lap-dog of French aristocracy, the toy poodle is small, playful, and very friendly. Toy poodles can also be fiercely protective of their owners.

Raising a dog on Nintendogs helps you realize just how much work and effort goes into caring for a real dog!
