1927 - Charles Lindbergh completed the first nonstop/solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean when he arrived in Paris.

1932 - Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean when she landed in Northern Ireland today!

John Gielgud the famed stage and film actor who starred in “Arthur” and “Elizabeth” passed away in 2000 at the age of 96.

Billy Walker the legendary country music artist was killed in a car accident in 2006 at the age of 77.
