Walking Tour Las Vegas Bellagio Shopping and Fountains

This Bellagio tour starts on another page. Click here.

As your stroll down the halls of this palace like structure, past some very luxurious shops... peek out the curtains to see what the A-list people are doing. There are gardens, full of curtained cabanas and delightful cool water filled pools.

Back out to the lobby, to view the ceiling. The entire glass flower filled area is all backlit hand blown glass that is larger than life. The colors and designs will have your neck aching from staring at the ceiling. Try to find a comfy seat to take it in. Spend a while people watching here as well.

Make sure to check out the botanical area behind the check-in desk. It
is always decked out with a suitable seasonal scene that is spectacular all in
itself. This photo was the Winter Wonderland Theme.

*Wander through the casino floor (don't forget to check out the décor -
it is really over the top) to the other side of the casino where another long strip of shops awaits.

Buffet
*This is a rather long walk... so we often take the time to stop in the buffet. It is well worth the extra bucks to dine at the buffe for dinner. If you are looking for somewhat of a bargain...go to the Bellagio Buffet at the tail end of breakfast. You will get in at the breakfast price, but you can try both the breakfast and lunch menu. They don't ask you to leave - trust me.

*Kids must be over 18 to eat at the buffet, unless they are a guest of the hotel.
*Mimosa style Champagne Brunch is what you are after...then you work into lunch.

*Despite the beautiful decor... the buffet will still feel like a cafeteria.
The background music compeates with the conversation and the decor.

*The shopping area is full of lighted displays with things only that A-list could afford. But don't forget look up-close at the beautiful painted walls and ceiling, if you take your time strolling this area you will find so much that will amaze you and shouldn't be passed up.

*There is a restaurant downstairs that is suit and tie only… original
Picasso's deck the walls. I have been told the food is wonderful... and the view of the fountains is spectacular.

*A nice cappuccino can be found at the end of the shops - down the stairs - grab something nice and frothy and head outside.

*The Fountains of Bellagio wait for no one. This dance of water, light and sound show is so entertaining you must plan to catch it more than once. You should catch the show at least one time after dark, so you can get the full effect of the lights and fountains against the backdrop of the Bellagio Hotel.

*Now...head back to the top of the parking garage again...the view is the same as it was a few hours ago...but now you get to see the lights and the fountain show can be viewed somewhat from here as well.
