Susan Meierīs New Release

Hello and welcome back! I hope youīre all enjoying some of the many new romances available this month, and gearing up for Valentineīs Day! My stack of February releases is clamoring to be read, and Iīm really dying to get to some of them. However, Iīm excited to share a few more of Januaryīs books with you this week, so letīs get to them.

First up is Lori Fosterīs Wild
(Jove). I adore her books, because theyīre always sexy, with heroes to die for, and this one is no exception. Zane, the last of the Winston brothers, gets his turn this time out. Zaneīs got a very sexy gypsy whoīs blatant about what she wants from him, and he decides to give her what she wants. Except that Tamara Tremayne turns out not to be exactly his idea of a gypsy. Not that that stops the way heīs beginning to feel about her, but then, when strange things start happening, he knows someoneīs got to look out for her. Ms. Fosterīs books can help you heat up during the cold, dark days of winter, and her characters are always well-written. Iīm giving this one four of Cupidīs five arrows. I hope to see cousin Joeīs story soon!

Next up is Jennifer Malinīs Eternally Yours
Eternally Yours
(Joveīs Love Letters). Lara Peale has just purchased an old house belonging to a poet sheīd adored. It would be even better if his ghost wasnīt haunting her now. Mark Vereker, a descendant of the poet, isnīt as thrilled by his ancestorīs writing, but he is interested in Lara. Now if she could figure out if Mark was still involved with Karen, she might be just as interested in him. Together, though, they work toward figuring out who the recipient of some of the poetīs love letters was, and maybe find out if theyīre really falling for each other, or just under the influence of a centuries-old ghost. This one didnīt work very well for me, not for any particular reason, but that Lara and Markīs passion isnīt very, um, passionate? Iīm giving this one just two arrows.

Finally, we come to Susan Meierīs latest, "The Bossīs Urgent Proposal" (Silhouette Romance). Susan is another favorite, because you can count on her for realistic characters with true-to-life conflicts. This time out is no different. Olivia Bradyīs been in love with her boss Josh Nicholson for years, despite the fact that he barely knows sheīs alive. Finally, she decides she must go on, without him, in a new place. But Josh doesnīt know what heīll do without her--a new secretary would never be able to find anything, let alone him, so he convinces her to help him out, just a little before she leaves. Only to find that he canīt let her go. Olivia and Josh are very touching, and both very stubborn people. Hm, stubborn, like many of us when it comes to realizing that it might be time to let go of something we donīt need or canīt use any more? I always look forward to a new Susan Meier book, and this one was no exception. Now I canīt wait for the next. This one gets four and a half arrows.

Until next week, happy reading!
