Navarre Beach has been called Florida’s Best Kept Secret by many visitors. Well, the secret’s out now! Whether for a romantic getaway for two, or a place to find romance with the kids, this is a relaxing place to visit.

For a time when you must bring your children, the Holiday Inn Navarre Beach will assist you in finding some “alone” time. During summer and holidays, this establishment offers entertainment for children and adults alike. The Beach Brigade is open daily during the summer and has complimentary morning or afternoon sessions. If you would like to have your children spend the entire day, lunch is provided for a nominal fee. Also, certain nights, Parents Night Out is available for under $10 per child.

The rooms are your standard Holiday Inn room, but it was clean and cool. Also, Holiday Inn has a “Kids Stay and Eat Free” program. There is an indoor pool, game room, gift shop, outdoor pool, ice cream shop, and bar. The ice cream shop was reasonable in price with burgers being less than $2 and other snacks were available.

And now for the beach:
The sugar white sand was free of debris each morning. Guests of the hotel can rent an umbrella and a pair of beach chairs for around $45 for a few days. It is rented through a private company on the beach and cash only is accepted.

When not at the Beach Brigade, my children built sand castles and played in the surf. Not far down the beach is the public pier, where for $1 you can take a nice walk and observe fishermen at work or at the end of the pier, look for sea turtles in the water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Navarre Beach. My children are asking when we can visit again. I’ll be looking forward to another Parent’s Night Out where I can eat a nice meal and walk along the beach at night. I knew we picked a winner for everyone when my children didn’t want to leave.
