The price on these are $3 each. This can seem a lot of money compared to "regular" ice cream, but is pretty on par with other premium ice creams. Of course if you make ice cream on your own, you can make a very similar recipe for far less.
The sweetener here is maltitol, so those who are sensitive to sugar alcohols need to try this in small amounts.
The texture is fine, and the flavors are also quite nice. The flavors tend to be on the mild side, but they are still tasty. If you add on some low carb chocolate syrup and whipped cream, it turns into a decadent treat.
Perry's Carb Delite is recommended for those who like premium ice cream. For me personally, I'd rather make my own ice cream to have it without sugar alcohols, and for far less money. I do agree that some people are in super small apartments where every inch of shelf space counts, so in that case it might be worth it to bring in premium ice cream vs having to keep an ice cream maker around to create it on demand.
