This pattern will fit specialty dolls such as 15-16 inch Kathe Kruse, 16-17 inch Sasha, 17.25 inch Natterer Sunihil, 16.5 inch Theodor Recknagel Dolls, 18 inch Magic Attic and other similar slim collectible and antique dolls. Sewing Instructions

Unfold pattern pieces and place right sides together.

Sew center back seams together. Sew center front seams together.

Turn in waist seam one quarter inch twice and blind stitch, leaving opening to insert one eighth inch wide elastic equal to doll's waist measurement.

Roll hems at lower edge and blind stitch as you go.

Sew front and back leg seams together by beginning at one lower edge up and down to other lower edge.



If desired sew a decorative edging stitch around lower leg openings as I have done. See photo above.

I'd like to suggest that if you spend time making doll clothes, anyway, that you collect a few dolls from friends and neighbors and sew a wardrobe or a complete outfit for each doll. Then donate the doll in the completed outfit to a charity that distributes used dolls and toys to kids that otherwise would not have any.
