This is a simple pattern I did recently, it's small, done in size 11
beads, and fairly quick which makes it very nice for gifts, I made this
in an afternoon.
It does a have flap done in odd count flat peyote, but that's the only
even slightly tricky thing about it.

Some ideas:
Use pretty beads dangling off the flap to weigh it down a little more
securely.
Make it for a relative for Thanksgiving with a note about what you
are thankful for.
Graph a simple design and embellish with vines and flower beads or
with some of those gorgeous sequin shapes available from some stores.
