Simply Sexy

Hello, and welcome back! I've been working on another author interview to share with all of you and hope to get that up soon. I'm also working on a number of holiday ideas, including the annual shopping list, and some gift ideas for your favorite romance readers, as well as a list of some of the holiday romances available this year, so look for those in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, I have three new romances to share with you this time out, so let's get started! First up is Linda Francis Lee's Simply Sexy
Simply Sexy
(Ballantine), the final book in her 'Sexy' trilogy. This time is Julia Boudreaux's turn to meet her match, and this one really lives up to the 'sexy' portion of the title with bad boy Ben Prescott as her temptation to stray from the new path she's set for herself. I loved this one, and it didn't disappoint me as the last one did, by starting off steamy and fizzling out. This one will have you reaching for a cool drink, no matter what the temperature is outside--and here, it's definitely fall-heading-for-winter. I'm borrowing four of Cupid's five arrows for this one.

Next is Jane Graves's Light My Fire
Light My Fire
(Ballantine). Sandy DeMarco's latest community service recruit is the unwilling attorney Ethan Millner after his brush with the wrong side of the law. I wanted to like this one, but I had a really difficult time getting past Ethan's foolishness in the beginning, so this one's not a keeper for me. Ethan's change from reckless indifference to a new man just didn't convince me, though I liked Sandy's brothers' roles in the story. It's earned three arrows.

Finally we have Fern Michaels's Family Blessings
Family Blessings
(Atria). Loretta Cisco's family is in a turmoil, and so close to the holidays.... Her grandchildren are having marital problems, and a freak tornado has destroyed her home. This is a very sweet story, not exactly a romance, but more a pleasant way to while away few hours during a lull in the holiday rush and renew your own holiday spirit.

Until next time, happy reading!
