RSVP Card Game

When throwing a party, making sure your guests are happy is usually a concern of a hostess. Happy guests ensure the party will be a huge success. In Lifetime's RSVP card game, players must seat guests next to like-minded guests. When both sides of a guest are matched with a like-minded guest, then they are happy. Make all the guests happy to advance in the game.

Guest cards feature a cartoon character in the center of the card. The background of the card is split into two diagonal sides. Each side can be a different color or the same color. Match each diagonal side with the same color of another card to make the guest happy. When both colored sides are matched up with a guest with the same color on that side, the character will have a smile on his face. Continue to lay cards onto the table while color matching the sides of the cards. When there are no more moves, if all of the guests are happy, then you proceed to the next table setting.

There are two versions of this game. The original RSVP is strictly in online game. There is no storyline, just table after table to seat guests around. Each table has a name and is worth so many points. As your progress, each table gets a little harder to manage. Choose from three cards to place onto the table. If there are no cards you want to use, you can replace the cards up to four times. There are wild cards in RSVP that will take on the color of cards beside them, automatically making a color match.

The other version of RSVP is called Lifetime RSVP. Lifetime RSVP has a storyline. You help JoJo become a social butterfly by throwing the best parties around. The basic gameplay is the same as the original RSVP but with different graphics. There are some twists thrown into this updated version. Some guests like to be beside just one other guest while others want to be beside two different guests. It adds a level of complexity but also adds to the enjoyment of the game.

Both versions of RSVP are a lot of fun. The RSVP online card game is completely free while the updated Lifetime RSVP has an hour long demo before you must purchase the game to continue playing. Both have their own pros and cons. Free is always nice, but you have to be online to play. Having the game on your computer means you can play it full screen and follow along the adventures of JoJo. Either game will deliver the same fun and entertainment that RSVP franchise has always provided.
