Cooking With Hot Flashes

Have you noticed that some people seem to always have a sunny attitude? - Always a smile on their face and a bounce in their step? I’m sure that their lives are as full of aches, pains, and daily irritations, as it is for anyone else but they look at life differently. For the rest of us, it’s all too easy to fall into a tired gate and negative attitude.
It is not so easy to see humor in the daily grind.

That’s why I recommend good clean humor every day - in any form - as a ‘pick-me-up’ and reminder to ‘lighten up.’

Which brings me to my book review. Martha Bolton is one of those people who seems to see the humorous side of just about everything.

This book is for all of us who are over 40 and especially for women entering or experiencing menopause. All the physical and mental changes that come with aging can be depressing, but Ms Bolton shows how we can choose to look at the humorous side of it. She encourages the reader to accept and even chuckle at every new wrinkle and sagging body part.

This book is full of holsum, good-natured fun, and clean enough to give to your grandmother. Reading even one chapter a day is sure to help you out of the doldrums and remind you that God meant life to be enjoyed.

One of my favorite chapters is short. Quoted here in full.
Ten Things I knew I Would Never Forget Even in Middle Age

(Okay. Never mind.)

I enjoyed this book and hope to find more like it because I never want to outgrow a good laugh.
