French Cafe Brulot

• 8 cups of extra-strong coffee
• 6 tsp of sugar


• 2 cinnamon sticks


• 8 dashes of powdered cinnamon


• 8 dashes of powdered cloves


• 2 jiggers of brandy or brandy flavoring


• 4 clove studded baked oranges

Combine all ingredients except baked oranges in a large glass or silver bowl. Gently stir to mix well. Place sliced baked oranges on top of liquid.

*To bake oranges: place in a baking pan with a bit of water and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.

*Makes 8 cups of beverage
