In an open letter to her fans Ms. Winans stated, "Whew! My God I have never been given such an awesome task as I was when I had to select one winner from some of the most beautiful letters I have ever read in my entire life."
She added "Please know that I have been totally humbled by your unbelievable love towards me. Your unfailing support for my ministry and what God has given me to do in this life is absolutely overwhelming!"
She stated that all the letters touched her but she was only able to pick one winner and that was Ms. Moore.
FELICIA RENEA MOORE Ms. Winans closed her letter by stating that all of the people who wrote to her would receive a gift of love from her and she wanted to thank them again for their support.
