Zucchini Sticks

Fried Zucchini Sticks

Serve these deep-fried zucchini sticks with creamy ranch dressing or horseradish dip on the side. This batter recipe can be used for deep-fried onion rings, cauliflower, brocoli, mushrooms, etc.

  • 3 or 4 (6" to 8" long) zucchini
  • 1 egg - lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Preparation -
Peel, then slice the zucchini into pieces about the size of thick french fries. Whisk the remaining ingredients together for the batter. Mix until smooth. Dip the zucchini sticks in the batter. Deep-fry in vegetable oil at medium high heat. Drain on white paper towels.
