Lavender and clary sage have been known to have a relaxing effect and herbalists believe that mugwort can stimulate clairvoyance. I have not seen mugwort available in similar products, anywhere. This product contains all three. Wise Ways claims that the mugwort flower essence and clary sage used in their formula were grown organically on their own farm, so I was impressed. Singing Brook Farm Sacred Earth Medicine Center is located in the Berkshire Hills of Western MA. Owner and herbalist Mariam Massaro works from an 1850 New England Farmhouse in addition to organic farming on the grounds.
The fragrance of the balm is very relaxing and and not overpowering. The balm is in solid perfume form and has a nice, non-greasy consistency. I rub a little into my "third eye" area (between the eyebrows) and at my temples before bed and can smell it as I drift off to sleep. The product is olive oil based and I found that it is not at all greasy or oily. I'm not sure if I can credit this product, but I did have a very vivid dream the first time I tried it.
If you don't have access to the herbs and essential oils to make your own meditation and dream formula, this product would be a good one to try. Wise Ways Herbals also carries a wide variety of healing salves and herbal blends as well as soaps, massage oils and beauty products. All products are 100% guaranteed and no synthetic chemicals or preservatives are used.
