Hints for making
- Use small patterned prints such a calico, keeping in mind the scale of the doll.
- Use washable fabrics and trims.
- Hand sew dress with quilting or buttonhole thread to maneuver the small pieces.
- For variety, make the bodice a solid color.
- Match the dress color to the season - pastels for spring, reds and greens for Christmas, sunny bright colors for summer and fall.
