Here is a look at some of the celebrities and shows on Biography on A & E and the Biography Channel for the first two weeks of February:

Andre the Giant
The 7'5" tall 450 pound French farm boy, who became a famous professional wrestler and actor. (A&E)

Sonny Bono
Some people only know his as half the act of Sonny and Cher. He was a multi talented man, who wrote music and produced their career. He also with Cher was in charge of their movie. Catherine the Great

Bill Cosby
Everybody knows the face, the Jell-O Pudding commercial pitch man. He is and was always more than that. Cosby flunked out of high school, but his life was always something he could look back on and make us all laugh about. From his stand-up act to his sitcom roles, he was the basis for Fat Albert cartoon and movie. His life hasn’t been golden since his stardom though, he lost a son to a drive-shooting and was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting two women. Judy Garland
One of the original Gumm Sisters, Judy became one of the most loved young starlets. In roles such as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, to her pairings with Mickey Rooney. Her voice and fresh face captured the hearts of millions. She married three times, first to band leader David Rose director Vincente Minnelli and had daughter Liza Minnelli. She later married producer Sydney Luft and had two children, Lorna Luft (actress) and Joey Luft (filmgraphy). Judy battled with alcoholism, drug abuse and several suicide attempts.(Biography)

Doc Holliday
One of the Wild West historical characters. Often portrayed as a good guy, was a gambler, gunfighter and a drunk. He was good friends with Wyatt Earp and his brothers, who ruled Tombstone and were major players in the Shoot Out at the OK Corral(Biography)

Carole Lombard
The blonde comic bombshell who became one of Hollywood’s top stars. She starred in more than 70 movies. A few of my favorites are: My Man Godfrey, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (the original and nothing like the latest) and To Be or Not To Be. She was engaged to crooner Russ Columbo until his accidental death, she was married to William Powell and lastly to, reportedly the love of her life Clark Gable. After her tragic death coming back from selling war bonds, a WWII- Liberty Ship was named after her. Sal Mineo
The story of a young teenage idol who rose from rags to riches in the 50s only to have his life end at 37, when he arrived home to a burglar and was stabbed to death. He starred in movies such as Rebel Without a Cause and Exodus. Interviews with his sister and brother are included. (Biography)

Priscilla Presley
Young bride of Elvis Presley and mother of his daughter Lisa Marie. She went into acting and into business after their divorce. (Biography)

Donna Reed
Small town Iowa girl who went from secretarial school to be the star of the great movie It’s A Wonderful Life among many other movies and the star of the long running Donna Reed Show on TV which aired from 1958 to 1966. (Biography)

Joesph “The Rat” Valachi
Known as the first Mafia “rat” to testify against the Cosa Nostra. His testimony forced the FBI to admit that the Mafia did exist. He testified about rituals and how police and politicians were paid off. (Biography)

Tiger Woods
One of the legends of golf, Tiger Woods was a child prodigy at golf, he was reported to start playing golf at six months. He has won many PGA tournaments and several Grand Slam victories. Interviews include Earl Woods (his late father), Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Lance Armstrong. (Biography)
