Meaningful Songs - Faithbooking Challenge

Add sayings or words from SONGS that have been meaningful to you, and share why or how that particular song touched you.

By Michelle McVaney

One of my favorite songs is "Shout To The Lord." When I first started my Faithbooking journey I was stumped at what to do to get my album started. I was driving my son to preschool when my favorite song came on the radio. Suddenly I knew that I wanted to add that song to my faithbook! I couldn't wait to get home to work on the layout! I did a whole two page spread with the lyrics to that song! From there on out my faithbook started to flow! I now have an entire album full! If you have struggled with your faithbook up to this point I strongly suggest that you listen to your favorite Christian song and make a layout dedicated to that song!

Here are the Shout To The Lord Lyrics use on my page:
My Jesus, My Savior,
Lord, there is none like You;
All of my days
I want to praise
the wonders of Your mighty love.

My comfort, my shelter,
Tower of refuge and strength;
let every breath, all that I am
never cease to worship You.

Shout to the Lord, all the earth,
let us sing
power and majesty, praise to the King;
mountains bow down and the seas will roar
at the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands,
forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand,
nothing compares to the promise I have in You.

It is also great to include how the song makes you feel.

Who says you have to have pictures for a scrapbook page? During your faithbooking experiences you will find that you will not have pictures to go along with your pages. It is ok to do pages without photos. It is also ok to stage photos to go with your pages. A photo of the ocean would work well with my Shout To The Lord page or even a photo of the mountains. As you can see by my layout I decided to let the words of the song speak for themselves and didn't include photos.
