Singapore Changi Airport has many facilities and services for the transit traveler. The airport has been constantly rated the best in the world. Changi Airport achieves this distinction by meeting the needs of its visiting travelers.

Singapore Changi Airport staff realizes that travel is stressful. Muscles are not the only thing that becomes frazzled on long flights. The mind needs a break now and again. People need places to rest and calm down.

There are outdoor gardens at the airport. Places of beauty where a person can escape the artificial interior of the airport. Singapore Changi has cactus, fern, orchid and sunflower gardens, plus a rain forest area.

The Singapore Changi Airport Sunflower garden is in Terminal 2, Level 3. It is near the Plaza Premium Lounge and the movie theater. Open the glass door and step into the sunshine. Feel the skin absorb the sunshine. Sunlight is a great mood enhancer.

Sit on a cushioned seat and view the golden flowers swaying in the breeze. Unwind and watch the airport activity on the tarmac. Read a paperback novel and escape the cares of the world.

Notice smokers! The Changi Sunflower garden is a designated smoking area. Obey all smoking rules. The Singapore government has strict rules on smoking. Never! Never leave a cigarette or cigar butt on the floor! Dispose of them in the appropriate container.

Singapore transit travelers check-in your bags for your next flight. Find a garden and sit down to rejuvenate. The sunflower garden is the perfect place. It reminds one of the fields in the south of France.
