"Frivolité 1" was published by Creaciones Artime, Spain. 14 pages. Full color pictures. Spanish text. Patterns are diagrammed. 12 patterns, mainly doilies and edgings. There is also a beautiful pair of gloves. Patterns previously published in Anna Burda Magazines.

"Manual de Frivolité (con más de 50 diagrama fáciles de realizar)", ediciones Lucero, Madrid, Spain. 103 pages. BW. Instructions on basic techniques. Basic patterns with one shuttle and shuttle and ball. Patterns are explained, not diagrammed. Spanish text. The doily featured on last page is the same from Neueschiffchenspitzen.

"Manual de Frivolite" by Elsa Canepa Oliveira. (I could not find one single reference to this author on the Web!!) Printed in Pachacutec, Peru, June 1976. 12 pages, 2 in color, the rest, BW. Basic instructions. 3 patterns: Doily, edging, collar.

"La Magia del Frivolite", edited by Elsa Serrano, 42 pages, full color, nice illustrations, good explanation of block tatting. The few patterns seem to be vintage ones used for teaching purposes.

"Burda Especial Frivolite E 969 ESPAÑOL"


"Novedades en Frivolité 1" was printed and distributed by Alexis distributor of Peru 10 pages. Full color pictures. 16 patterns, diagrammed. Tulle scarf, purse, sachets, brooches, bookmarks, collars, earrings and small motifs. Beginner to intermediate. Note: The patterns are the same as the ones published in Yusai Shokoin's "Tatting Ideas"

"Novedades en Frivolité 2" was printed and distributed by Alexis distributor of Peru 9 pages. Full color pictures . Spanish text. 14 patterns, diagrammed. Baby bib, bonnet and booties, sachets, purses, choker and brooches, bookmarks, collars, necklaces, hankies, garters, doilies. Note: The patterns are the same as the ones published in Yusai Shokoin's "Tatting Ideas"

"Burda Especial Frivolite E 969 ESPAÑOL" is a Spanish language version of the tatting course published over several years by Burda's ANNA magazine.

"Burda E478 Special Edition" in Spanish 34 full color pages and 10 inserts with instructions. Over 60 clearly explained patterns of doilies, edgings, hankies, individual motifs, snowflakes, window ornaments, sachets, pillows, tablecloths, napkin rings, etc. From beginner to advanced. No diagrams. (Possibly included in an insert) Spanish text.

52 pages. Spanish text. new edition of the German Anna Burda Tatting Special E 969 of 1989. 32 patterns. 36 full color pictures. 15 BW pages of instructions. Spanish text. No diagrams. (I guess they were included in an insert, which I don’t have for this one – however, I have the ones for the French edition) Tablecloth, decorative pillows, window curtains, doilies, snowflakes, collars, individual motifs, purses, hankies, napkin rings, and Easter ornaments. From beginner to advanced.
