In my last article, I talked about how I was able to bring back a taste of Fredericksburg, Texas by visiting the Fischer & Wieser® food emporium there. While it was difficult to make a selection from all the many tempting offerings, I selected a few items-- Campfire Corn Salsa and the Whiskey ‘n’ Peaches BBQ Sauce. Since then, I have been able to relive my trip to Fredericksburg, Texas.

While food is definitely important in this unique town, there are many other attractions from historical sites to outstanding recreational opportunities, making it a fun place to visit. One of my favorite things to do here is to experience the new Butterfly Haus, a 2,000 square foot live butterfly exhibit, where you are surrounded by these dramatic miracles of nature. Again, bring your camera!

If flowers and gardening and nature aren’t your thing, you can settle yourself in the Brew-Bonnet and watch a game on TV.
