Fifty Shades Of Grey

Anastasia Steele’s life changes forever when she meets Christian Grey. Ana, the young, naïve college student, agrees to interview the elusive, billionaire as a favor to her sick roommate, Kate. But things don’t go as expected when Ana becomes smitten with Christian. The feeling is mutual, and Christian pursues her, bringing her into the confines of his dark, secretive, sexually charged world. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

∙ Anastasia spends the night out at a bar, drinking with her friends. After she drunkenly calls Christian, he comes to pick her up. The next morning, she wakes up in a hotel room. Christian has ordered breakfast and, in a wider view of the two of them, he is shown walking over, handing her the toast and sitting near the foot of the bed. It cuts to a close-up of Christian, who’s now standing and he proceeds to walk back to the couch.

∙ Anastasia arrives at Christian’s office for their meeting regarding the contract. During the scene, as they’re negotiating, Ana’s hair falls on her back, near both shoulders. But near the end of the scene, in a close-up of Ana, her hair is suddenly pulled over her left shoulder. A few moments later, she’s shown pulling her hair over her left shoulder again.

∙ At her college graduation, Christian pulls Anastasia to him and a photographer snaps their picture. During this scene, when her picture is taken, Ana is smiling and her lips are closed. Later on, when she picks up the paper at Christian’s place and says “look at this”, the picture of Ana and Christian shows she’s not smiling and her lips are slightly parted.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” (2015) is based on the book by E.L. James. It stars Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Jennifer Ehle, Eloise Mumford, Victor Rasuk, Luke Grimes and Marcia Gay Harden. The movie runs 125 minutes and is rated R for strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity, and for language.
