The New Year is here. A new day, a new month. The first of January marks a new day in a new month in a new year. But it's more than just a new year with a new month and day. It is the beginning of a New You. My mantra for the new year when I woke up this new year's morning was: " It's a new Year, a New Month, a New Day, and a New You."
Let this year be the beginning of your process in creating a new you. A new year means a new start in life. Another year to do something different and good for yourself. A new year to say "I am beautiful and I'm going to be beautiful in my own world". Please don't go all narcissist on me though.
This year we will be discussing the logic between skin and body care products. We will also explore how the body uses these products to improve the condition of ethic skin and nourish it at the same time. I will try and help you understand the dynamics that take place between body chemistry and product formulation. Formulation refers to the make up of a product, the ingredients used and how the combinations work together to achieve the results it was created to produce. Our bodies already know what it needs to do it's job and stay beautiful. We just need to supply it with the weapons and tools to work with i.e. nourishing moisturizers and cleansers etc.
It is important for ethnic women to know why the products work the way they do. It is important to recognize chemicals or ingredients that could be bad for our skin etc. We all have some kind of major flaw we have to live with. That flaw is considered the problem area and how you treat it is very important. What you use to treat it is also just as important. We will look into this more in the coming months. My aim here is to bring you relevant information on ethnic beauty so you can make informed decisions for yourself and your beauty.
Ethnic beauty is about making informed and educated choices. Even though ethnic and multi ethnic women may be limited in their selection of beauty products and color, it doesn't mean they aren't out there. Ethnic women have the opportunity to be creative and fun with their beauty and for some it is serious business. This year we will delve into both sides. We will discover the fun, trendy side of ethnic beauty and explore the serious business side of red carpet, runway and celebrity modeling fashion and style.
