Review of The Marriage Manual
The Marriage Manual is a slim 64 page book that provides a quick 30 minute read. But it may be the best 30 minutes that you’ll ever invest in your marriage! It’s filled with more marital wisdom and advice than many of the thick marriage tomes that I’ve labored through.
The book is divided into 2 sections – one for him and one for her.

Written by a couple BJ and Laurie Woodward The Marriage Manual will teach you everything you need to know to have a great marriage.
Wives – You will learn:
• How to speak to your husband so that he actually listens to what you are saying.
• How to get your husband to talk
• Getting your hubby to really understand your feelings – just like your best friend does!
• How to get your husband to change (no, it doesn’t involve Chinese water torture, nagging, whining or threats)
• Why respect is as vital to a man as love is to a woman
• How to get your husband to help you ( This technique alone is worth the price of the book)
• Why your husband’s work or career is so important to him
• Meeting his sexual needs in a way that builds intimacy and closeness in your marriage

Husbands – You will learn:
• How to get your wife in the mood more often
• Ways to make your wife feel loved and special (It’s not what you think!)
• How to talk (and listen) to your wife so that she feels validated and understood –perhaps for the first time ever
Both sections end with a checklist to help you put into action all you’ve learned.

This wonderful book could have been made even better with stories and examples to better illustrate key points made in the book.
