State Homeschool Guidelines

Anyone starting or considering a homeschool program needs to be aware of the requirements for their home state. There is a new category in subjects here at the BellaOnline Homeschooling page, titled "Homeschooling in Your State" which provides you with several links for each state that have information on the laws, resources available and support group listings. I have personally evaluated each link for it's authenticity, and if you encounter any problems or find a link broken please feel free to let me know via email-homeschooling@bellaonline.com.

Here is a quick overview of the states and their requirements, in general. These are subject to revision, of course, and you should always check with your local state and county government for exact requirements.
