New season of Army Wives on Lifetime

In Lifetimeís most successful series to date, the Army Wives will need each other more than ever now as the wives struggle to put their lives back together following the aftermath of the bombing at the local hangout, Hump Bar.

The Season 2 premiere of Army Wives will premiere at 10 p.m. ET/PT today (Sunday, June 8), after nine months of waiting since the Season 1 cliffhanger, which left several members of the castís lives in limbo when a jealous husband of a secondary character (Marilyn) traps everyone in the bar with a bomb strapped to his chest.

Season 2 starts four days after the bombing, according to the preview, where army wife Pamela Moran (Brigid Bramagh) goes to the radio station to discuss on air what has happened, mentioning that she just found out a person close to her has died.

It then flashes to a press conference lead by Lt. Col. Joan Burton (Wendy Davis) who tells the press the bombing killed four, injured 15, three critically.

It then shows army wife Claudia Joy Holden (Kim Delaney) talking solemnly with her oldest daughter Amanda. Both look slightly injured from the bombing, especially Amanda.

Watching the last part of the Season 1 finale again, letís narrow down who was in the bar at the time of the bombing: army wives Claudia, Roxie LeBlanc (Sally Pressman), Denise Sherwood (Catherine Bell) and army husband Roland Burton (wife of Joan) are all standing next to each other talking when the bomber George Paloraski (Robert Pralgin) walks in. The bomberís wife Marilyn (Kate Kneeland) is standing with her lover Eddie (R.W. Smith). Seeing the bomber come in while sitting in the car, Claudiaís daughter Amanda comes in ó standing right next to the bomber as he holds a grenade (or similar device). As the bomber begins to release his hold on his device, it shows flashes of each personís spouse or family members as if it will be the last thing they see.

According to the press conference, four will die. I believe three of them will be the bomber (obviously), Marilyn and her lover Eddie. Who is the last person? Watching the preview for Season 2, thereís a glimpse of a young woman in red running toward the bomber as she yells ďrunĒ as if to the others in the bar.

I believe whoever this mystery person is probably dies. But I have now clue who it is.

Also from the preview, itís possible that the person didnít die right away, but rather died from their injuries.

From what I understand, the Season 2 premiere is done in a series of flashbacks where the viewer gains a little information a little at a time, basically to keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

In the new season of Army Wives, the women will need each otherís support to get through the traumatic experience of the bombing. In the season finale, many other things were going on. Roland and Joan were separating, but she just informed him that she was pregnant. I donít believe Roland will be killed in the bombing because Joan was the one speaking at the press conference. I doubt she could do that if her husband had died. I think the bombingís aftermath will give this couple a second chance, as Rolandís life literally was flashed before him.

For the others, how will it affect their lives? Who died and how is that person related to the others? Who were the ones critically injured? What about the husbands?

Besides the bombing, the wives have many other problems to deal with. New army wife Roxie is dealing with her husband Trevor (Drew Fuller) being deployed. To her children, this is the first father they have ever known. One of the most touching scenes from the finale was watching her children say goodbye to him as he prepared to deploy.
