I experimented with Keune’s Ultimate Sun Care Line while spending some vacation time in Florida this spring.
Sun Care Shampoo contains Provitamin B5 and Biomins to moisturize and revitalize hair and scalp. The information on the back of the bottle says that it removes chlorine and salt water so I didn’t worry about swimming in the pool or the Gulf of Mexico. I found it to be very gentle on my color treated hair, leaving it soft and shiny but still nice and clean. It is made to be used for both hair and body so it was handy for traveling and saved room in the shower.
When styling my hair, I used Sun Care Hair Gelee Spray. It is made to be used on damp or dry hair. I applied it after shampooing and then styled my hair. It held my style in place and gave it a shiny finish and smooth, moisturized feel. The bottle states that it helps to reflect the UV rays and I feel that it did protect my hair.
Sun Care Protection Oil is an interesting product from Keune’s Sun Care Line. It contains Squalane-Oil from Olives and Oryzanol from the rice plant along with Vitamin E. I used it on my hair and body before and during sunbathing. It is a spray-on oil that is light enough that I didn’t feel “oily.” It absorbed into my skin so that I didn’t feel that I had to run to the shower immediately after sunbathing. It has a UV protection of 6.I liked the Sun Care Line, especially since all of the products have a nice light scent. They are easy to use and seem to do exactly what they claim.
