"This system of healing, which has been Divinely revealed unto us, shows that it is our fears, our cares, our anxieties and such like that open the path to the invasion of illness. Thus by treating our fears, our cares, our worries and so on, we not only free ourselves from our illness, but the Herbs given unto us by the Grace of the Creator of all, in addition take away our fears and worries, and leave us happier and better in ourselves."
. ~ Dr. Edward Bach
Dr. Bach developed the 38 flower remedies to help people who were hurting. He believed that the Creator had already given us all we needed to heal ourselves. Dr. Bach believed that illness is rooted in the mind. The flower essences work to balance mind, body and spirit. Personal experience has convinced me that they work. Bella's Alternative Medicine site has a great series of articles on flower essences here: Bach Flower Remedies.
Vibrations Magazine is a free e-zine with hundreds of informative articles. In Dream Catchers: Essences That Enhance Dreams or Dreamwork, Joyce Mason discusses specific flower essences and blends that can assist with sleep, dreams and dreamwork. We already know that the herb mugwort can assist with dreams and it is also available as a flower essence. I recently added mugwort to my handmade soap and have incredibly vivid dreams when I shower with it. St. John's Wort improves mood and its essence can also help with dreaming. Forget-Me-Not can help facilitate communication with spirit guides and departed loved ones.
In The Remedy Rap, Donna Cunningham takes us on a rhythmic journey beginning with the history of the Bach Flower Remedies and teaches us which ones to use for specific issues.
Our New Age editor has just begun a series of articles on how to make your own essences!
