Travel via the Sekupang Ferry to Batam, Indonesia

The Sekupang ferry travels between Singapore and Batam, Indonesia. It leaves from Finger Pier in Singapore. Finger Pier is across from the Harbourfront Building (formerly World Trade Centre). The ferry leaves for Sekupang harbour every half hour.

Batam, Indonesia is a popular tourist destination. Ferries ply the waters daily. They are air-conditioned except for the top deck which is open to the elements. Passengers are able to view the Southeast Asia Sea from the top deck.

The ferry arrives and docks at Sekupang harbour. Private and public cabs line the quay ready for hire. The private cabs are air-conditioned and roomy. There are no air-conditioning and less room in the public cabs, but the fare is much less.

The Sekupang ferry fare depend on the day of travel during the week. Of course, the weekends are the priciest. Travel on the ferry for shopping, fresh seafood or a night of dancing.

Enjoy a beach scene in the office or home.

Carry your travel documents in a passport case. This leather case will impress the airport officals and the hotel staff.
