Book Review Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting

Back in 2000 I received a book recommendation from a dear friend. The book was one Iíd never heard of, on a subject Iíd never heard of Ė the law of attraction.

Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting, by Lynn Grabhorn was that book. I can remember sitting down and reading the book in about three days Ė it was just so interesting to me I didnít want to put it down. About a month later, I re-read it. About a year later I re-read it once again.

I recently received this book and was so excited to get to read it yet again (my original copy was loaned out long ago). It brought the same feelings of hope and possibility that it did when I first read it back in 2000.

The law of attraction is a pretty popular subject right now, and there are many books currently being released on the subject (many of which Iíve already read). But Lynnís book remains one of my favorites (in fact, itís still the only one Iíve read four times!).

What first attracted me to Lynnís work was that she came across as a regular gal. She wasnít a guru and she wasnít channeling information, she was a mortgage banker just trying to make a living. I liked this because sometimes itís hard for me to just accept information from another person on faith. When I can see that theyíve actually worked it themselves (and Lynn did) it makes it so much easier for me to work it for myself.

And donít worry if you are confused about all the law of attraction hype; ďExcuse MeĒ is written in a clear and easy to understand language for a lay person, or someone who has never had any experience with energy or vibration. And itís also so humorous and down to earth that anyone interested in furthering their knowledge and practice of the law of attraction would enjoy it.

Do you want to make more money? Do you want a healthy body? Do you want a great relationship? Well of course you do! We all do, right? But sometimes we loose our momentum and forget to focus on what we want, and instead lament on what we donít want.

Lynn lays it out like any friend would who is tired of our complaining! She reminds us in her book that itís our feelings that guide us to be aware of what we are creating in that moment. Nothing too complicatedÖ. Nothing too over our heads. Itís simple - listening to our feelings lets us know whether we are creating something good for ourselves or something bad.

Excuse me, your life is waiting. Are you ready to live it?
