Drama Ideas for Older Homeschoolers

Teaching Drama is always a fun subject for the homeschool crowd. Not only do students learn to interact better with one another, they also become more comfortable with speaking in front of a group. Here are some basic games and activities you can use to teach Drama to your homeschooler. This elective makes an excellent idea for a co-op class, and you can even create a class for your high school student to satisfy a performing arts credit.

Express Yourself- Learning to use expressions in a dramatic way is essential to dramatic instruction. Here are some expressions for your homeschooler to work on:

happiness
elation
joy
sadness
