James Hall To Record Live

James Hall Worship & Praise will host a live recording at the Urban Summit at Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, CT on August 9, 2005.

Gospel producer Sanchez Harley will be handling the production duties along with longtime James Hall collaborator, Melvin Crispell, who wrote Hall’s hits “Caught Up in the Rapture” and “Gain the World.”

After a four-year hiatus, the Brooklyn native dubbed the “Professor,” will bring his awe-inspiring vocals back to the forefront. “It is good to be back, I feel the Lord has taken me through so many struggles just to bring me to this new level of creativity and ministry,” said Hall.

The Live Recording is one of about a dozen events during the first-time Bobby Jones Urban IMPACT Summit that runs August 7-10, 2005. The full range of events are listed on the summit website at www.urbanimpactsummit.com

The world famous Foxwoods Resort is located 90 minutes from New York City. It’s the largest resort casino in the world and has hosted luminaries such as Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, Patti Labelle and Alicia Keys to name a few. This is their first gospel production. “We are happy to welcome James Hall and the Urban IMPACT Summit to Foxwoods,” said Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Chairman Michael Thomas. “Our Nation has a long tradition of spirituality and we are proud to be a part of this historic occasion and the merging of our cultures.”
