Unique Technique 1 - PowerPoint Editing

You've been working on your presentation for quite a while and you are close to being done. When you ran the slide show, you saw several edits that you want to make but you have to come out of the Slide Show view to make the edits. Here is an easier way to view the slide show from the edit mode.

You can preview the slide show in a miniature slide while continuing to edit your slides. A miniature slide will appear in the upper left corner of your document window when you click on the slide show button while holding down your CTRL key. The slide show is the active feature on the screen. You can scroll through it in the same way that you would in a full screen slide show. To make an edit, click off on the edit board and the miniature slide show will hide. It will be replaced with a Slide Show tool bar containing a Resume Slide Show button. Once your edits have been made, click on the Resume Slide Show button on the Slide Show Toolbar to view how the edits will be reflected in the slide show.
