Bra – llelujah – Airport Friendly Underwear

Airport friendly wear is the new travel lingo. With airport security being a necessary hassle, Atlanta based women's garment company, Spanx Inc, has found a way to turn a negative into a positive. They’ve come up with - Bra-llelujah! Bra-llelujah is a "no metal" bra which the company boasts is "airport friendly.” Do you have "airport friendly everything” ticked off on your business travel packing list? It used to be the knives and the pressure pack deodorant we had to worry about with check in. Now it’s the shoes and the clothes.

Increased Airport Security
Post September 11 th, getting to your flight on time, has become even more of a challenge. Come to think of it, airport and friendly are not words we readily associate with each other. Airport security has been beefed up around the world. Passengers complain that the whole check in process takes longer. The extra checks, and the soft shoe shuffle with the shoe removal, all take extra time. Extra time usually means extra stress. It’s probably no dance party for the security people either.

You can now purchase “airport friendly no metal BuzzNott travel suspenders”. These suspenders also feature “space age plastic and easy to open clips.” They are available from www.suspenderstore.com. “No metal boots” and plastic belt buckles are initiatives from other companies in the growing market of airport friendly wear.

Airport Friendly Wear is Here To Stay
Where there’s a niche, there’s an entrepreneur. The suppliers of these products indicate that there is a big demand for the security friendly products. The addition of a swathe of new terms to our travel vocabulary attests to this. Airport friendly wear, security friendly gear, and search friendly products may become "must have" items for the next business trip packing list.

Amy Von Wolter, a spokeswoman for the Transport Security Administration, told CNN “When the private industry develops new products to improve customer service it’s good news for us and the traveling public.” I agree. If it saves us time and hassle with business travel, then I say -
Bra-llelujah!
