If you are currently wearing a bob hairstyle, you will notice that it is longer on top and shorter at the nape and chin area. You can use those longer lengths at the top to change your casual hair into formal.
If your hair is curly or wavy, apply curl enhancers and scrunch in as much curl as possible. If this doesn’t result in enough movement, use a curling iron to create a mass of curls. Brush the back or shorter area, up and secure it with bobby pins if possible. If it is too short for that, comb it down and gel it close to your head. Cover the bobby pins or the dividing point with the curls from the top. You can also tuck a veil in under the curls at the back of your head.
For a softer, and smoother style, set your hair with hot rollers or Velcro rollers to create fullness and waves in your hair. Comb the sides back over the top of your ears allowing the ends to curl around the ear. Use back-combing to create fullness at the top – toward the back. Insert a headband, tiara, or wedding crown in front of the poofy hair at the crown of your head.
If your hair is layered and short all over, you will still be able to create a beautiful wedding style. Apply curl enhancers and scrunch in as much curl as possible. To create more body you can use a small curling iron to create a mass of curls. Comb the front back away from your face about two inches. Accessorize this style by inserting a headband, tiara or wedding crown and fluffing the curls up behind it.
Accessorize these styles for other formal occasions, such as parties or the prom by using rhinestones or pearls attached to bobby pins instead of the headband or tiara. Flowers can be used in the same way.
