Her Perfect Earl (Signet Regency) by Bethany Brooks has Esmerelda Fortune taking on the unruly children of the Earl of Ashforth to get her closer to an old manuscript. The new governess isn't quite what Julian had expected, but he has no room in his life for any disorder. This one is cute and sweet, and the children are funny.
Lady Silence (Signet Regnecy) by Blair Bancroft features Damon Farr, newly returned from fighting the war with France, and Katy Snow, the grown-up waif his staff had taken in the night of his departure. Damon comes across as rather unpleasant, beyond gruff and grouchy at times. I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much.
A Splendid Indescretion and the Grand Passion (Signet Regency) has two previously published stories by Elizabeth Mansfield, re-released in a single volume.
Until next time, happy reading!
