For a skirt, hold the sarong lengthwise and wrap it around the waist. One wrap around gives the wearer a side slit. Wrap the sarong twice around the waist for more coverage. Tie the two ends in a knot or pin them together.
For a halter dress, hold the sarong by the two top corners lengthwise behind your upper back. Pull the two corners under the arms and bring them to the front. Overlap the fabric. Tie the two corners behind the neck. Adjust the sarong to cover the chest completely.
