Neuroplasticity

Neuroplasticity is the activity of the brain as it responds to injury and other affectations. It is basically a compensation mechanism where the brain forms new connections between nerves to replaces damaged or interrupted ones. The brain will reshape and mold itself according to the stimulation it experiences. Neuroplasticity is thought to play a role in chronic pain conditions.
