They offer all kinds of recipes from entertaining to quick fixes. A lot of the recipes are based on boxed items or items that you can add things too. For example, six different ways to make macaroni-and-cheese and all of them took less than 30 minutes to fix.
In fact, one issue that I got, I've cooked 98% of the recipes in it. The only two that I haven't fixed were really more for entertaining than one of our sit-down family dinners.
The main dishes were yummy and the desserts were divine! They also theme their issues to match the seasons, which I really like too. I'm not very interested in cooking a pot chili when it's a boiling 90 degrees. When it does feel like 30 below 0, I want foods that are going to feel warm and comforting.
The very best part about this magazine is that it's free! Just go to Kraft Foods.com and sign up. The first time you go to the site you should see a link down in the bottom of the left sidebar for the magazine. Just click on that and answer the questions. The magazine really is free. There's also a link in the Daily Dish section too.
Be sure to check out the Kraft Foods website while you're there. I highly recommend the Free Meal Planner. It's really cool, especially if you're trying to lose weight or get healthy. They've also got a Tools Calculator which can be really helpful for counting carbs, counting calcium, a nutritional diary and still more. Of course they've also got tons and tons of recipes too!
This is a definitely a recommended magazine! If it weren't free, I'd pay for a subscription.
