In all of Max Elliot’s adventure books there is plenty of suspense and adventure! Once they get started they may find it difficult to put the books down to come unload the dishwasher – so cut them some slack and be glad they are reading.
Besides getting kids to read, this series also teaches about citizenship and the importance of doing the right thing. For example, Todd learns stealing is an awful practice.
