The Preamble -- Prelude To Chaos? (It's all about the rhetoric.)

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Thus read the introductory words of the Constitution of the United States. Have you ever wondered about this Preamble? I mean, those of us who have the privilege to live in the United States pride ourselves on our justice system, on our personal liberties, and all the other perks that come with living here, but have we ever truly considered these few words? Have we seen them as something that “they” (whoever “they” may be) came up with, and that don’t really pertain to us, personally, anymore? Let’s take a closer look!

Is our Union perfect? Those most critical of the current administration will be quick to point out the flaws of our country. Even those who are wearing rose-colored glasses and refuse to find any fault whatsoever with those in power, will have to agree that our country is far from perfect. Yet -- what is perfection? And how do you know when you’ve got it?

Perfection is not attainable on this side of heaven; however, each one of us, the People of the United States can do something to bring our country a little closer to perfection. Suggestions include very simply things, i.e.
