The Austin Powers movies are great, and in Goldmember he takes on James Bond themes which is simply brilliant! Here are some goofs to keep an eye out for.

Austin is of course British through and through - but for some reason the mini cooper he drives has an AMERICAN wheel layout. I don't think so!

In the great chase to the submarine, apparently the mini's lights are malfunctioning. First, it says that they are moving zero miles per hour. Next, it also says that the rear hatch is open!

The 1975 flashbacks aren't quite right. For one thing, the Bad News Bears hadn't come out yet. Next, A 5th of Beethoven hadn't come out yet either.

Dr. Evil apparently had a REALLY rough childhood. He was brought up in the city of Bruges, which is a Dutch speaking town, by his adoptive parents. However, he says to Goldmember, "I don't speak freaky deaky Dutch". Maybe he just means he doesn't speak Goldmember's version of Dutch :)
