The Convenient Bride (Signet Regency) by Teresa McCarthy is up first. Lord Clayton Clearbrook's inheritance from his uncle couldn't have come at a better time, but it comes with strings attached--Clayton has to find a bride and fast. Miss Briana Garland seems a good choice, if only she'd cooperate and say yes.
Dedication (Signet Regency) by Janet Mullany is next, with Fabienne Craigmont and Adam Ashworth meeting again many years after he broke her heart. Or did she spurn him? Depends on which one you ask. These are both very traditional Regency stories with all the requisite rules and societal expectations, which should delight Regency fans.
Ace of Hearts (Signet Eclipse) by Barbara Metzger is next, with the Earl of Carde, Alexander Endicott, on the hunt for a suitable bride. And for his missing half-sister. Nell Sloane doesn't qualify on either count, but there is something about the country miss that 'Ace' can't seem to put out of his mind. This one is sweet, rather than steamy, more an extended traditional Regency. Still, Regency fans will most likely love this one. If you're not a traditional Regency fan but are looking for something cute and light to pass a few hours, this one may just fit the bill.
Until next time, happy reading!
