The campaign launched with the highly colorful NBA player Dennis Rodman. The advertisement carried the slogan "Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs," which fits well with the heavily tattooed and highly individualistic sports figure. At this point in his life, Rodman has tattoo work that ranges over most of his entire body, as you can clearly see in this image.Another one of the ads features the duo of actress Franka Potente (Run Lola Run and The Bourne Supremacy) and Bela B., drummer for the German band Die Ärzte.
Franka has a dragon tattoo on her arm, and a tribal belly tattoo. Bela has a bat on his upper right arm, some star tattoos, flame tattoos, and a portrait of Bela Lugosi, his namesake.
The latest entry in the "Ink, Not Mink" series features rocker Tommy Lee and was photographed by Mary McCartney Donald (daughter of former-Beatle Sir Paul). The image debuted alongside the announcement of a door policy that bans fur and fur coats at NYC nightclub Home. Tommy Lee has full sleeves, which is the tattoo world's way of describing arms with tattoos work that runs solidly from the shoulders down to the wrists. You can see koi, a skull with a top hat, star tattoos, and japanese waves.
