Do you like machine embroidery? If so, then you will enjoy this book.

This is a great book, in that it is like a machine embroidery course, with each technique growing out of the skills you have mastered with the previous one.

It teaches you how to design with your fabrics, stitch and manipulate the colour and pieces to create your masterpieces.

From flat applique to more advanced techniques including beading, and working with polymer clays to make beautiful collars, this book is a must for anybody who wants to either learn machine embroidery, or who has the basic skills, and wants to learn different techniques to further their skills.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this book - it is well written and easy to follow. There are gorgeous illustrations, and the projects are designed so that you are stretching your skills, but not beyond what you have already been taught.

The author gives a lot of important tips, such as the importance of keeping a notebook, and goes into the absolute basics of machine embroidery, including the various stitches and styles used.

All in all - this is a great book and I believe that all machine embroiderers should add it to their library.
