Hello, and welcome back. The sky outside the window is a bit gloomy today, but we need the rain here so I won't complain at all. I put a new batch of agent queries into the mail over the weekend, so I get to do the waiting game again, but while I'm waiting to hear from them, I'm also working on a new list of editors to submit manuscripts to. And working hard on keeping up with all the new romances coming out--I spent half the day yesterday in the romance section of the store at work, and still had lots to do when I came home. And there are plenty of new books out now and in the next few weeks, historicals, paranormals and contemporaries--hopefully something for everyone. And this morning, I have three new Regency releases to tell you about.

When Horses Fly (Signet) by Laurie Bishop features Cora MacLaren, whose nursing skills have kept a roof over her head for a very long time. But her latest home has two men there, one planning to marry her and one she's falling in love with. Could be a little awkward. This one is very sweet, and Cora is a real paragon.

A Singular Lady (Signet) by Megan Frampton is next, with Titania Stanhope has got to find a man with money. Edwin Worthington wants not to be wanted for his money so pretends he has none. This sounds like a match made in heaven.

Regency Christmas Courtships (Signet) is the first of the holiday anthologies to land on my desk this fall, with stories by Regency stars Barbara Metzger, Edith Layton, Andrea Pickens, Nancy Butler, and Gayle Buck. Five quick, sweet tales sure to delight Regency fans and whet the appetite for more holiday stories, which are already heading into the bookstores.
