I always loved Raiders of the Lost Ark. Harrison Ford does a great job as a world weary but determined adventurer. Here are some mistakes to enjoy!

The staff is said to be about 5' tall from the inscription - but it's shorter than Harrison Ford, who is certainly taller than 5'.

The Germans are using MP-40 and P-38 weapons, which wouldn't have been available then. On the other hand, Indy at one point uses a RPG-7, which wasn't around either.

I know in the original "snake" pit, you could see a glare off the glass that was between Indiana Jones and the big snake. It always amused me. I do hear that they digitally fixed this in current DVD releases, though.

When they show the map that traces Indiana Jones' route, they show Jordan (which should have been Transjordan) and Thailand (which should have been Siam).
