You have invited to participate in the royal guessing game held once a year. You will work as a team to try to guess the item that slowly will take shape in front of you. The king will give you clues but it's up to your team to guess the answer. Hurry and make your guesses because time is slipping away.
Said and Done! is a children's German board game. It fosters cooperative play as players must work together to guess an item. This educational game is for 2 - 6 players. One person is the king and sits on one side of the magnetic wipe board. The remaining players sit on the other side.
The king places one of the object sheets into the top of the wipe board. There are 8 sets of crown magnets that are used in the game. The king will tell the team where to place the magnets. On his picture there will be small circles that indicate where to place magnets. He will know when the team has reach the spot because his magnet will move as they slide theirs across the board.
If the team cannot guess what it is after all the magnets have been placed, the king will now tell the players to draw lines to connect the magnets. This should help the team guess the secret term. Teams need to guess the term before time runs out. Players take turn being king. The game ends when everyone has been king twice if there are 2-3 players. If there are more players, then once everyone has been king the game is over. Keep track of how many terms your team missed. If you missed less than two terms then you win the game.
Said and Done! comes with a packet of objects. You can make your own terms by using plain white paper. This encourages creativity and can also be very useful in an educational setting. All terms could relate to a school lesson and help to reinforce what kids have already learned. Said and Done! could be a fun way to review class lessons.
Said and Done! is recommended for kids at least seven years old. Playing time is usually 20 minutes. There is some setup involved to the game. You have to place the white board into the box slot, and place the magnets on the white board.
Overall, Said and Done! is a fun game that can be played by either HABA's rules or make up your own.
