Arizona is considered to be a state with "low" regulations on homeschooling.
Compulsory age of education in Arizona is "between six and sixteen".
Exception: According to Arizona law "If a child who will attend homeschool has not reached eight years of age by September 1 of the school year, the person who has custody may exempt that child from compulsory attendance law by filing an affidavit of intent to not begin homeschool instruction."
Residents of Arizona have one option to legally homeschool and that is to "establish and operate a homeschool". Parents must file an affidavit of intent to home educate with the local school superintendant within thirty days of beginning to homeschool. When homeschooling is ceased the parent must file another affidavit within thirty days. Affidavits must include the child's name, date of birth, address of child's current school (if attending), address and telephone number of custodial parent/guardian.
Homeschools are not required to teach a certain number of days per year.
Attendance records are not required in Arizona.

-Reading
-Grammar
